This refers to the Bitcoin.com Wallet app only, and assumes that you have your automated cloud backup master password or your 12-word backup phrase.
How to access your wallet if you've forgotten or lost your spending password
If you have lost or forgotten your spending password, you will need to delete the sub-wallet from your device and then restore your wallet using your automated cloud backup master password or the 12-word backup phrase for your wallet.
(You will need the spending password to access the backup phrase in your wallet so if you don't have your backup phrase written down, you will not be able to access any funds in that sub-wallet. If this is the case, then we recommend that you do not delete the sub-wallet because you might remember the spending password one day)
By importing your wallet from the backup phrase, you will be able to access your wallet without requiring your spending password. Once you have restored your wallet, it is recommended that you set a new password as soon as possible
