When a new pool is created on the Verse Dex, the pool’s dollar value is initially calculated using conversion rates from Bitcoin.com’s Markets API which gathers data from a range of cryptocurrency exchanges. After the first swap has taken place via the new pool, the pool’s dollar value switches to being calculated using conversion rates from the Verse DEX. For this reason, the dollar value displayed before the first swap may be different than the dollar value displayed after the first swap.
