Updated this week

On 6 March 2026, a push notification reading “Test” was inadvertently sent to our iOS and Android Bitcoin.com Wallet users due to a third party misconfiguration.

The issue has been identified and fully resolved.

Your Funds Are Safe: We want to clarify that this was not a targeted attack on any specific users or account. Importantly, this incident did not involve user funds, wallet access, private keys, or any compromise of the wallet infrastructure. Your assets remain secure.

No Further Action Needed: We have not identified any suspicious activity on any users. If we do, we will contact the affected user directly.

A Note on Vigilance: Bitcoin.com will never ask for your private keys or recovery phrase. You should never share these with anyone, under any circumstances.

If you ever receive a message that seems suspicious, please disregard it and report it to our support team immediately.
