Stablecoins on the Concordium network are digital tokens that are designed to keep a stable value, usually tied to a fiat currency like the euro or US dollar. They allow for fast transfers with low fees on the Concordium blockchain.
Using the Bitcoin.com Wallet app, you can receive supported stablecoins on the Concordium (CCD) network by sharing your CCD wallet address. A small amount of CCD is required in your wallet to pay network transaction fees.
👉 Important: Before receiving stablecoins, you must create a CCD (Concordium) wallet in the Bitcoin.com Wallet app. To do this, please follow the steps in [How to Create a CCD Wallet]
👉 Note: Stablecoins on Concordium are issued as CIS-2 tokens. Once a supported stablecoin is added to your wallet, it can be received directly using your CCD wallet address. No extra setup is required.
