Stablecoins on the Stellar network (such as USDC or other fiat-pegged tokens) are digital assets designed to maintain a stable value, usually tied to traditional currencies like the US dollar. They combine the stability of fiat with the efficiency of blockchain, making them ideal for fast, low-cost payments and transfers.
With the Bitcoin.com Wallet app, you can receive stablecoins on the Stellar network by sharing your wallet address with the sender. Keep a small amount of XLM in the same wallet, as it’s required to pay network (gas) fees when sending or withdrawing stablecoins.
👉 Important: Make sure you’ve already created an XLM wallet inside the Bitcoin.com Wallet app. This is required in order to receive stablecoins on the Stellar network. Please follow the instructions in this guide first: How to Create an XLM Wallet
