Summary
You can "sweep" your Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash paper wallets to the Bitcoin.com Wallet app. This enables you to manage the funds held in your paper wallets via the app. To sweep your paper wallet, simply scan the paper wallet's QR code and follow the instructions.
Before sweeping your paper wallets
To ensure a seamless experience, please make sure to update to Version 8.18 or above.
How to sweep paper wallets
Tap on the QR icon at the top-right corner of the app's home screen.
Scan the paper wallet's QR code with your device's camera. This will display the paper wallet's balance.
Slide the "Slide to claim" arrow.
Wait until the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain.
If your paper wallet contains both BTC and BCH, it is recommended to first scan the BCH paper wallet and await confirmation of the transaction on the blockchain before repeating the above process to sweep the BTC wallet.
After sweeping your paper wallets
It is recommended that you backup your wallets. To do this, you can use the automated cloud backup or manually back up each wallet by recording its 12-word recovery phrase.
