How much does it cost to sell my crypto?

Please note that MoonPay always shows the fees before you sell your crypto, so you can see exactly how much you'll pay and how much you'll receive in your bank account. It's important to review the quote carefully before confirming the transaction.

What is the minimum amount I can Sell?

MoonPay has a minimum sell amount that varies depending on the cryptocurrency you're selling. Below are the minimum amounts for each cryptocurrency. When selling crypto, the minimum amount will also be displayed on the screen to ensure a smooth and convenient experience for the user.

What is the maximum amount I can Sell?

The maximum transaction limits for "sell" transactions are as follows: 1 BTC, 40 BCH, 3 ETH, 10,000 USDC, and 10,000 USDT. However, these limits may also be subject to the user's individual account limits.

For other cryptocurrencies, the maximum sell amount will also be determined by the user's specific account limits.

What is the fee for selling my crypto?

A detailed fee breakdown for selling crypto is displayed on the screen. Be sure to review the network fee, MoonPay fee, and any other applicable fees before confirming the transaction.

Which Bank accounts are supported for ACH Withdrawals?

We support Euro bank accounts that can receive SEPA payments and UK bank accounts that can receive GBP payments.

ACH sell is also available for the US users.

If you are not located in the USA, UK or EU, the good news is that MoonPay is exploring and opening their sell feature up to users in other regions!

How long does it take to get paid after selling my Bitcoins with MoonPay?

MoonPay partners with local payment networks worldwide, so delivery times vary depending on the fiat currency you choose to receive. A breakdown of the delivery speeds is provided in the table below.

How do I check the status of my transaction?

Open the email confirmation from MoonPay and click on "See complete deposit instructions."

This will direct you to the MoonPay tracker, where you can check if any additional action is required from you to complete your transaction. You’ll also be able to see if the transaction is still being processed or if it has already been approved by MoonPay.

Will my bank charge me to receive the funds?

Please check with your bank to see if they charge any additional fees for inbound bank transfers.

Can I cancel the transaction for Selling my crypto?

If you choose not to proceed with your sell order, please avoid sending your crypto to the MoonPay wallet address provided in the deposit instructions.

The transaction will automatically expire one week from the creation date, and you will receive an email confirming the expiration.

Please note: If you have already sent your Bitcoins to MoonPay by scanning the QR code, the transaction cannot be canceled.
