Introduction
We started in-app rewards in October 2024, inviting users to complete quests to earn rewards. Users who participated in seasonal Buy Quests had to claim their rewards. This required users to have POL (MATIC) in their wallet in order to complete their claim.
Since then, we rolled out Instant Rewards, which rewards users for completing quests immediately. This allowed users to receive rewards instantly into their rewards wallet, without having to perform the additional step of claiming their rewards or holding POL in their wallet. This was a marked improvement in UX for new crypto users using our wallet.
As of 15 May 2025, we have transitioned all quests to Instant Quests.
If you had completed seasonal buy quests prior to 15 May 2025 and have not claimed your rewards, we invite you to do so by 25 July 2025 00:00 UTC. Any unclaimed rewards by then will be forfeited.
How do I check if I have unclaimed rewards and claim them?
Open the Bitcoin.com self-custodial wallet app on your device
Ensure that you are signed in (More > Account Settings)
Ensure that you have a corresponding rewards wallet linked to your account (same screen)
Visit the Rewards section of the app (More > Rewards)
If you have any rewards to be claimed, they will be displayed in a widget on the screen
Tap on “Claim” and follow the on-screen instructions
Ensure that you have POL (Matic) on Polygon to complete the claim
